My goal is to design and create a mural that will perfectly express your
interests and style. I work closely with you to define exactly what you want,
even if you only have a vague idea of what you want done.

I am located in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania but I am willing to travel to nearly
any location to satisfy your mural dreams and desires. In addition, murals
can also be painted on canvas, shipped, and installed, rather than painted
directly to your walls.

Listed below are the most common steps involved in painting a mural:

Brainstorming
I begin by discussing with you what it is that you want to have done. This
includes determining the measurements of the space that is to be painted
and deciding what the mural design and subject matter will be. If you have a
clear idea as to what you want to have done, then this process is relatively
simple and quick. If you are uncertain about what it is that you would like,
then I will brainstorm ideas and concepts with you to determine exactly what
you want. I can paint murals in almost any style: (i.e. Classical,
Impressionistic, Expressionistic, Cartoon etc.)

Research & Development
Once the project is determined, I begin research and development. Each
project is a little different.  In some cases I work directly from research
materials and in others I will create sketches or scale color studies. Which
direction I take depends upon the scale and complexity of the project as
well as the preferences of the client.

Estimates & Cost
Each mural job is unique and it can be difficult to estimate what the final
cost will be.  For example, a simple mural that is quite large might take the
same amount of time as a more complex one that is a quarter of the size.
The cost of the mural is dependant upon the length of time it will take to
complete. If there is any doubt as to how long a mural might take to paint, I
will give the client a range, so there are no surprises should the project
take longer than expected. An 8'x10' mural can range anywhere from 5
days to 15 days, depending upon the complexity. I guarantee that the cost
will never exceed the range we contract for.   Each contract is estimated in
advance of the project and then the cost is determined by the number of
hours it will take to complete the work.  Cost is based on a $40 hourly rate
plus the cost of the materials.  Projects in other states or of a considerable
commute may incur additional costs for food, lodgings & transportation. Any
additional expenses will be discussed and agreed upon by both parties
before the acceptance of the contract.
