Plein-Air Studies
These studies were painted "plein-air" on location.  This can be a very challenging and at the same
time a very rewarding method of painting.  The artist  has to deal with the challenges of creating art in
an ever changing environment.  The artist is exposed to nature (i.e. Heat, Cold, Bugs, etc.)  and has a
limited amount of time to capture a motif before it changes.
